How long should your home be on the market when your realtor has suggested an 'offer presentation date'?
What does this mean? Imagine, it's a very hot sellers market and everything in sight is selling, quickly. The question is, how long should your home be on the 'market' before the specified 'offer presentation date'?
Typically, realtors in the know understand that a home should be on the market for a minimum of one week and often up to ten days, in order to give all of the potential buyers a chance to view and make an offer on your home.
Anything less than a week, and you will undoubtedly leave money on the table.
